A GLIMPSE INTO OUR INITIATIVES
WIÑARISHUN - IN DEFENSE OF THE PIATÚA RIVER
EAY and a delegation of young leaders of the Indigenous Kichwa People of Santa Clara in the Ecuadorian Amazon have partnered up to amplify the voices and role of the young Kichwa leaders in the region for the protection of their ancestral territory, cultural identity, and the last clean river in Ecuador: Piatúa.
EARTH-CONSCIOUS STORYTELLING: TAKING YOUTH-LED ADVOCACY TO THE NEXT LEVEL
How do the patterns and values that we enforce through our language shape the views of who we are as humans, and of our relationships with ourselves, each other, and the rest of Nature? How can storytelling become a powerful tool for transformational change? Experimenting and playing with these 2 questions is a key element of this initiative. Through our advocacy platform, we encourage young leaders to cultivate and empower their own stories and co-create a new dominant narrative that will improve the conditions for the successful implementation of current frameworks, policies, and targets.
The Earth Advocacy Lab is an international think-tank and innovation incubator by and for youth aged 18-35. It offers a virtual, experimental, and interactive platform based on Earth Jurisprudence, focused exclusively on examining, dissecting, and confronting the implementation challenges of policies, laws, and frameworks that address biodiversity, climate governance, and transition.
